So the past 5 months have been a nightmare. Fiance broke up with me and my world ended... Or so I thought. Time to start picking up whats left of the pieces and starting anew. I'll be trying to post something a day. No point having hope in the hopeless anymore.

SO I finally got the paper from Canson the other day and when it got here, the package was DESTROYED!!! It looked like a bear had a go at the side and it had been dropped on one end so the pastel boards and paper was destroyed. Needless to say I was a little upset by it but thankfully, Canson are sending replacements and sending them through fedex this time. Canson are so awesome. I've never had dealings with an actual paper company before and I think I will be doing more with Canson from now on. Big 10 on the customer service and satisfaction scale and a whopping -5000000 to UPS on a shitty delivery.

So yesterday I thought I'd be brave and try some mixed media projects with watercolour, acrylic and pastel and bought a Canson XL series mix media pad. It say's on the front that you can use watercolour, acrylic and other media. It does not take wet media well at all. You're reading this and probably wondering 'the title says Cnson is the best but I cant see how?", well, I complained about it to the canson people and they are sending some goodies to make up for it. I think, seeing as things have been falling apart since my breakup, this christmas might actually come though. Thank you Canson :)
